Dr Nandhini Rangarajan

General Practitioner

Dr Nandhini Rangarajan has been a GP for over 25 years. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interest in women’s health, pediatrics, minor surgical procedures, preventive and public health. Her hobby is drawing, painting and enjoying the nature. Being a fitness freak, she practices and train Yoga. She likes to read and explore history, religions, spirituality and meditation.

Dr Peter Donald McKenna

MBBS, PGDipHealth Promotion, FRACGP, MPHTM, FACRRM, AFRACMA

Born and bred in Bunbury, WA
Graduated from University of WA in 1983 and did my internship at Fremantle Hospital. Always wanted to work in rural and remote Australia, but no specific training program for this in the 80’s. Worked in isolated Kwazulu in South Africa for 2 years to learn further skills in surgery, obstetrics, anaesthetics and emergency medicine.

Returned to Australia in 1987 to work for 12 months in Christmas Island and Pilbara RFDS. Worked for 7 years in the Torres Strait including amongst the beautiful island communities of this unique area.

Further studies in Tropical Medicine and Public Health in Townsville in 1994 before commencing 25years at Innisfail Hospital (55 beds) in Far North Queensland, Moved back to WA just pre-COVID lockdowns and have together with my family decided to resettle in the gorgeous South West.

I have a passion for teaching, geriatrics, paediatrics, obstetrics, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, Palliative care,Other interests include fishing, diving, gardening and hiking.

Dr. Muthu Nachiappan JP

Consulting Audiologist, MSc (Sp & Hg), AuD

Dr Muthu completed his post graduation in Audiology and Speech Pathology from the prestigious All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore in 1999. He completed his Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2013. He started his career as the first Audiologist at Vikram ENT Hospital and Integral Ear Institute, Coimbatore, India in 1999. Dr Muthu gained experience in dealing with adult and pediatric speech and hearing disorders, Hearing aids and Cochlear Implants in a hospital set up. He was trained in Cochlear implantation at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Institute, Melbourne in the year 1999. He worked as an Educational Audiologist at the Singapore School for the Deaf from 2001 to 2003. He moved to Australia in 2003 and has worked as an Audiologist across Melbourne, Sydney and Perth with major Hearing Service Providers like National Hearing Centers, Western Hearing Services, Australian Hearing, AudioClinic, and Telethon Speech and Hearing. He has also worked as a pediatric Audiologist at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

He set up his own Independent Private Audiology Practice with a view of providing valuable Hearing Services at affordable prices on 14th Jan 2016. He has been providing visiting Audiological services in the regional towns of Manjimup, Bridgetown, Nannup and Boyup Brook. He has also performed outreach Audiological Services to indigenous communities at Exmouth, Carnarvon, Meekathara, Geraldton etc.

He has been blessed with three beautiful daughters. He loves volunteering and playing badminton. He volunteers at the Perth Hindu Temple as part of the Management Committee and loves teaching Tamil language to children of Tamil migrants at MuKaMai Tamil School, every Sunday at Willeton Senior High School. Dr Muthu is a JP, Justice of the Peace, offers JP services through which he reaches out to more people in the wider community.
